My Top Ten Movies

I love movies - don't we all?
It’s really difficult to put together a top ten list or even a top 100: movies are great for different reasons, and it’s hard to compare a comedy with a film noir classic, a drama with a sci-fi or adventure film. It’s even harder to describe why one film is ‘better’ than another, since people watch and enjoy films for different reasons. Nevertheless, there are some films that I will always remember and recommend to others. So, here is a list of movies that have made an impact on me for various reasons. Some are funny, others disturbing, and a couple are real weepies. You may not know any of them, because I seem to have chosen a number of movies that I enjoyed when I was in high school!

    I reckon sound makes movies good.
    If you watch scary movie without sound, the movie gonna be not scary at all!!:)

    Oh I watched Amadeus as well!! I loved it :D

    Haeundae/Tidal Wave
    Mamma mia!
    Hair Spray
    The Chronicles of Narnia
    Ice age
    Harry Potter
    Battle of the red cliffs
    200 pounds beauty
    Miss Pettigrew lives for a day
    Lilo and stitch

    Actually Haeundae and 200 pounds beauty is Korean movie so I think you may not know them.

    The only movie I have seen on your list is Gladiator, but I dont know about the rest.

    I love comedies, adventures and cartoons :)
    A few things i like in that films are really good sound and pretty cool settings, visual effects.

    Mary I agree with you, soundtracks are vital to the feel of a film and your understanding of the film-maker's intention. A good soundtrack can also make an ordinary movie a lot of fun ;)
