Very rarely a film meshes together as finely as Gladiator. Its vivid action, superb writing, breathtaking acting, moving cinematography, and flawless score all amalgamate into a zenith of film making.

Russell Crowe, severely underrated after his brilliant roles in LA Confidential and The Insider, justifies his position in the elite of Hollywood in this film. The calibre of his performance is stunning. Along with an excellent supporting cast, Crowe truly transfers the intense emotions of this flick to the audience.

Gladiator is a must see. It is a cliche to call a movie "powerful", but Gladiator's power is unavoidable. 10/10

  2. The movie that i’m going to write about called Stardust. It is just an amazing, magnificent movie with an impressive and beautiful story. The story starts telling us about a few characters from differents parts of the world, following their hearts, their different lives find each other.
The adventures of the young man who follows a path of danger and desire guides him through the friendship, magic and surely love. Starting like not that rich, but a hardworking young man, the main hero, Charlie Cox, finds himself in the world of magic where he finds a beautiful star, Claire Danes, that has fallen on the Earth by the accident. The story guides us through the cruel and selfish witches, searching for the treasure princes and the flying boat with pirates and the strage captain, Robert De Niro.

  3. 200 Pounds Beauty

This movie is one of my favourite movies, even though I don’t like romance that much (Actually it’s romantic comedy, however).

On the surface it is already a great movie. The fat girl protagonist Hanna is very cute and kind, later she turns into beautiful and thin but still kind and innocent Jenny. So there's a bit of eye candy, both cute and sexy throughout the whole movie. But then there's the funny bits, the movie has hilarious little kicks throughout the whole movie, making you laugh at all the right movies. But then there's a deeper side. People try to give everything to a beautiful girl. They set aside everything such as their kindness and always judge people with their appearance.

The sad parts that touched deep to the heart of the film are very well scripted and acted... I cried so many times watching it to see an 'ugly' girl turned beautiful, but having to give so much up and yet not quite happy with the shallow joys that this new body and face have given her.

A small disappointment however was that the story's villain did not do much and disappeared for the majority of the movie and out of the viewer's mind, rendering the character pretty useless and taking away a little something more the movie could have had.

Overall, this is the best romantic comedy movie I’ve ever watched! This movie make you laugh, cry, love and think! Also music in the movie was good as well. I loved ‘Maria’ and it’s in my iPod! :D
